Eco frienly boat - Halong bay tour 2 days / 1 night

Day 1: Hai Phong - Cat Ba Island (L,D)

- 6.15 AM pick up from your hotel and drive to Hai Phong – the sea port city

-After 2 hours driving from Hanoi to Hai Phong, you take hydrofoil (speed boat) from Hai Phong to Cat Ba Island (45 minutes).
- Have coffee break
- 11 AM welcome to get on board. The junk will cruise to take you to pass by the floating village.
- Enjoy fresh seafood lunch on Lan Ha bay.

- Keep cruising to the most scenic areas of the bay with hundreds of beautiful islands.

- Continue cruising further to see the unique Halong bay.

- Kayak some more through the narrow lanes and tunnel caves called Hang Ca.

- Get off the boat and climb up to visit the natural cave called Tien Ong where the thickest deposits of fresh water shells found in Vietnam from pre-historic times around 4000 years ago. The volume of shells runs to hundreds of cubic meters.

- Free for swimming and relax to enjoy the sunset on the bay.

- Anchor at a calm water area for dinner and experience the peaceful night on the junk among beautiful mountains.

Day 2: Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong (B,L)

- Wake up to see the dawn on the bay and then have breakfast.

- Visit the floating fish farm. You will learn how the local people there make their livings.

- Continue cruising further to see the unique Halong bay.

- Enjoy the last swimming on the bay.

- 11 AM get off the boat to Cat Ba.

- Take motorbike tour (with or without driver) to go around and visit Cat Ba island (optional).

- Have lunch in a local restaurant.

- Take hydrofoil from Cat Ba to Hai Phong and drive back to Hanoi or drive to Ninh Binh for Tam Coc trip.

Day 1: Hai Phong - Cat Ba island (L,D)

Day 2: Lan Ha bay - Cat Ba Island (B,L,D)

In the morning:
- Wake up to see the dawn on the bay and then have breakfast.

- The boat takes you to narrow lane of Tung Gau.

- Get off the boat for trekking in Cat Ba National Park. The trek takes around 2.5 hours. This is a little bit challenging trek. You have chance to see the green valley and the lake in the jungle.

- Visit the only local family of the valley with the fruitful orchards.

-Keep trekking to the other side of the island. The boat picks you up at Viet Hai port.

- Fresh yourself by swimming and then have lunch.

(The trekking is optional, if you do not like challenging trek, we can skip it and do more kayaking , cruising more to see Ha Long bay and Bai Tu Long bay)

In the afternoon:

- Kayak through tunnel cave called Hang Luon then to scheduled beach.

- Enjoy swimming more before dinner and spend another lovely night on the bay.

Day 3: Cat Ba island - Hai Phong (B,L)

- Have breakfast on boat
- Cruise more to Monkey island for monkeys watching and relaxing on the beach.

- 11 AM get off the boat to Cat Ba.

- Take motorbike tour (with or without driver) to go around and visit Cat Ba island (optional)

- Have lunch in a local restaurant.

- Take hydrofoil from Cat Ba to Hai Phong and drive back to Hanoi or drive to Ninh Binh for Tam Coc trip.
