Brief description: Van Long is a legendary land and an amazingly beautiful landscape for tourism, while at the same time, the largest mangrove nature reserve in northern delta, Ninh Binh province. Van Lang reserve is on area of 2,643 hectares in seven communes of Gia Vien district. In the Van Long forest, there are 457 species of plants, eight of which are listed in Vietnam’s Red Book. There are 39 species of animals, including nine precious species such as languor, Tibetan bear, chamois, Loris, and red-face monkey. There are nine reptiles listed in Vietnam’s Red Book such as grass-snake, varan, slow and harmless boas, and gecko.

Detail Itinerary |
Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong (L,D)
7.45 A.M, pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Cuc Phuong National Park. Stopover on the half way. Arrive Cuc Phuong at 11.00 A.M. Trekking through the typical Tropical forest. You will have picnic lunch in a house which is in the middle of forest. In the afternoon, come back to guest house for overnight on the house on stilt.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong – Van Long – Kenh Ga - Hanoi(B,L)
At 7.30, be ready for the breakfast in the forest. Leaving Cuc Phuong National Park for Van Long. Take the small boat to visit this “Natural Preserve area”. Enjoy the wonderful view similar Ha Long Bay but more serene and ecological. Visit and take a bath in the “Hot Spring” and you could walk through a green rice field to visit the Van Trinh Cave.
At 3.00P.M, you leaving Van Long for Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at 6.00p.m.
